Vintage Flea Market

I tried a new color on the dresser. Enter Maison Blanche Franciscan Gray. For the drawers, I mixed the Franciscan Gray with Annie Sloan’s Graphite. I did not have a buyer at the market but did sell it the next morning from a local Facebook exchange. I really liked the color so much, I thought of keeping it but sold it instead. There will always be another piece.

So my husband, Jay was itching to paint a piece of furniture red, so we went with Maison Blanche Cerise. The rattan got a couple coats of Annie Sloan Graphite as well as the legs and curvy details. She was finished with clear and dark wax and was ready to party.:) she got a lot of attention but no sale until 3:00, closing time. Better late than never.:)

The Magazine rack went to the same buyer at the last minute as well. 🙂

The Mid Century Modern coffee table went to another vendor in the 9th hour as well. 🙂 This beauty lived in my living room for 5 months before I traded her out.

The Rustic Desk came back home with me and has not found a new home yet. She was finished in Franciscan Gray and Graphite.

The wood cart with casters sold the next morning with the dresser. She was revised with a custom mix of Annie Sloan Provence and Duck Egg.

It is a lot of work to get pieces ready for a sale, but I enjoy speaking to the other vendors and customers. Stay tuned for part two of the sale.:)
