Painting My First Piece for a Client:)

Soooooo excited and nervous about painting my first piece for a client.
We connected through Facebook and after a series of texts and pics, my husband and I picked up the beautiful vintage secretary on Saturday morning.

So we brought it home and removed the hardware and began sanding the rough parts.

So the first coat of a custom mix of Annie Sloan Duck Egg and Graphite for the interior.

Then it was time for the first coat of another custom mix of 4 parts Duck Egg to 1/2 part Graphite.
I love the look of the one coat. 🙂

Stay tuned for the reveal:) Once the nerves settled on selecting just the right custom mix and not making a mistake, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience.
